Hand-rolled jasmine pearl green tea made from whole leaves and buds harvested in early spring. Leaves are pan-fired, stored until jasmine begins to bud, then scented multiple times with fresh jasmine blossoms. After scenting the jasmine buds are removed, the tea is steamed to restore pliability and hand-rolled into tight pearls to seal in the aroma. Softer, floral aroma with a soothing yet uplifting character; medium caffeine.
- Origin: Fujian, China. Ingredients: green tea, jasmine. Brewing: use 1 tbsp per 12 oz boiling water, steep 4 minutes, then decant. Enjoy hot or iced.
