After conditioning, Sculpey Premo clays are firm enough to hold fine detail yet soft enough to blend easily. HOW TO SOFTEN: When Sculpey Premo becomes too firm it can be softened using various techniques: Using a clay conditioning machine. Mixing it with clay softener. Combining the clay with softer clay. Using a food processor. Smashing the clay inside a plastic bag using a rolling pin. BAKING INSTRUCTIONS: Bake at 275 °F (130 °C) for 15 minutes per 1/4 in (6 mm) thickness. Do not microwave. Do not exceed the above temperature or recommended baking time. While crafting - Please make sure your work area is covered and you are not working on an unprotected surface. We recommend working on the Sculpey Tools Oven-Safe Work Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil. Uncured clay may damage unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Be sure to cover your crafting area appropriately. WHILE CRAFTING: Please make sure your work area is covered and you are not working on an unprotected surface. We recommend working on the Sculpey Tools Oven-Safe Work Mat, wax paper, metal baking sheet, or disposable foil.
