Yes, the fashion designer Donna Karan is the DK in the clothing label DKNY, although she no longer owns the brand. In 2001 DKNY was sold to LVMH and in 2015 Karan herself left her position as chief designer of the brand. In 2016 LVMH sold all of its Donna Karan and DKNY holdings to G-III Apparel Group.
