Is electroplated silver worth anything?
1 Answer

Yes, some electroplated silver is worth something. However, because electroplated silver objects and decor typically feature only a thin layer of fine silver, the value won't likely pertain to its composition. Instead, factors such as the maker, age and condition are what make certain electroplated silver pieces valuable. If you're curious about how much a particular piece may be worth, consult trusted online resources to review the selling prices for similar silver collectibles or decorative objects or have a certified appraiser or experienced antiques dealer evaluate it. Explore a diverse assortment of silver objects and decor on 1stDibs.
