What is the difference between ceramic and porcelain pots?
1 Answer

The difference between ceramic and porcelain pots is specificity. Ceramic pots are any pots made from clay that undergo a firing process. Porcelain pots are ceramic pots made from a special clay that usually features kaolin and feldspar. After throwing, the pots get fired at high temperatures. A porcelain pot is generally smoother, less porous and more translucent than other types of ceramic pots, such as stoneware and earthenware.
