What was Honoré Daumier famous for?

Honoré Daumier was famous for being a printmaker, caricaturist, painter and sculptor. He is now best known for his caricatures of political figures. The artist’s many works, particularly lithographs, offered commentary on the social and political life of 19th-century France.
