Where is Pierre Frey made?

Where is Pierre Frey made?
Pierre Frey is mostly made in France. The maison has its textile-weaving workshop in the north of the country. The Ministry of the Economy and Industry granted the facility the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant, or Living Heritage Company label, an honor reserved only for manufacturers with a high level of artisanal expertise. Furniture produced by Pierre Frey comes mainly from an atelier in Villers-Cotterêts, Hauts de France. On 1stDibs, find a variety of Pierre Frey pieces.

Pierre Frey “Budapest” in Carmine Carved Velvet 22" Down-Filled Pillows - a Pair
By La Maison Pierre Frey
Located in Winder, GA
Magnificent carved velvet with a dominant linen pattern of Hungarian stitch, characteristic of the 17th century. Fabulous woven pattern. For those interested, A Hungarian stitch is one of the oldest needlepoint techniques and employs three long stitches combined with two shorter ones to deliver, roughly, a diamond-shaped result. Shades of rose, red, green, yellow….very intricate in carved velvet. The end pattern gives a Missoni-inspired reinvented flame stitch of sorts. As an aside, this is by far the most costly fabric in my inventory. I feel somewhat compelled (but not too much) to apologize for the pricing. But recently through an odd set of events, I found myself in a factory on the border of Belgium and France. Pierre Frey fabrics (and some being crafted for The Orient Express) were on their looms and I was captivated. Pricey…for sure…..worth it…no question. This listing is for a pair of plush down-filled pillows. They will be crafted using Pierre Frey Budapest...
