About the Artist:
A founding member of the Transcendental Painting Group, William Lumpkins was a visionary figure in 20th-century Southwestern art. In addition to his celebrated painting career, he was an innovative architect known for eco-minded adobe design in Santa Fe. Lumpkins’ artwork is held in major institutions and private collections worldwide.
