Unframed and displayed in a beveled, ivory mat with gilt inner slip.
Matted dimensions: 19.5 x 23.5 inches
An elegant figural study showing a group of three fashionably dressed young women relaxing on the banks of a river with white swans and flowering lily-pads. A delicate and whimsical work that exemplifies the Art Nouveau Style.
We are pleased to offer a lovely painting by this listed artist whose figural works are held in the permanent collections of both the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Charles Henrida's work is also included in the “Collection de Cents”, beside the work of prominent Art Nouveau artists including Alphonse Mucha and Jacques Villon.
