About the Item

Mixed media small scale figurative abstract drawing on paper by Polish artist Eugeniusz Tukan-Wolski. At first glance, the artwork looks like an abstraction, however the tile 'A street at night' gives context and the shapes become more obvious as an architecture. Main colors are blue and orange. Artwork is not framed, it is put into passe-partout carboard. EUGENIUSZ TUKAN-WOLSKI (b. 1928, d. 2014) He graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in an atelier of Tadeusz Łakomski in 1957.
