Cover of the Magazine l'Asino is a very beautiful and satiric china ink artwork by Gabriele Galantara (April 26, 1908).
This is the cover of the donkey magazine, in good conditions except for some stains on the back.
Gabriele Galantara (1865-1937) was a journalist and one of the leading Italian caricaturists and cartoonists.
"The donkey" weekly magazine published in 1892 of which Galantara signed the illustrations, met the favor of the public. The aim of the satire were episodes of political malfeasance.
