Medium: Pen and Ink on Illustration Board and Cardstock Signature: Signed Upper Right Caricature by George Wachsteter (1911-2004) for the 1945 Broadway show `State of the Union` starring Ralph Bellamy Ruth Hussey (here with Maidel Turner). The production, directed by Bretaigne Windust, designed by Raymond Sovey Emeline C Roche, ran 11/14/45 - 9/13/47, for 765 performances, at the Hudson Theatre. This drawing appeared in the New York Journal-American, clipping included. On 10" x 15" illustration board, with blue to indicate halftone. 6 1/4" xs 8" image. Minor soiling, editor`s notations.
