Jean-Raymond Delpech (1916-1988) was a French painter, engraver, and illustrator, who was mostly influenced by the countryside of his childhood. Delpech studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris and in 1948 won his first prize of Rome in engraving intaglio, which endowed him with much success in Italy. He also produced postage stamps, illustrations for books and magazines, theater sets (for Dullin), medals, paintings, and even stained glasses. From 1944 to 2004, his work was the subject of numerous exhibitions, both individual and collective.
