A particularly fine watercolour scene of two noble families greeting each other outside a magnificent half-timber manor. Both families look nervous by the meeting, standing at a distance as they acknowledge one another in their finest clothes. The painting continues to intrigue with guests depicted throughout the detailed scene. Beautifully mounted in a elegant gilt frame with acanthus leaf mouldings. Signed to the lower left. On paper.
