Provenance: Steel Gallery, Coral Gables, Florida. Nadine Campbell Hoskins, born in 1912 was a self-taught artist and Coral Gables jet-setter who was a staple of Miami Herald social columns in the 1960s and '70s. She began her career at the Lowe Art Museum's clothesline sales. New artists could hang paintings on clotheslines. Her paintings are in [Lowe's] permanent collection.
