About the Item
Petite Fille is a wonderful original pencil drawing on ivory-colored cardboard realized in 1905 by a French artist of XX century.
This modern artwork represents an anatomical study of a skull of a child of 8 years in four different points of views, each of these with an autonomous artistic dignity. A superb line accompanied with an incredible technique of the chiaroscuro exalt the meticulous study.
With autograph pencil inscriptions on the lower right margin: "X he =1905 / petite fille 8 ans" followed by monogram in pencil where it is readable "EL".
In good conditions, except for discoloration of the paper on the lower margin and some light stains of humidity, these defects do not affect the image.
