This delicate and highly geometric composition by French modernist Guy Nicod combines watercolour and gouache to create a muted yet intricate cubist abstraction. The central structure is formed of interlocking angular planes in soft tones of ochre, mauve, grey, and pale green, intersected by arcs and spheres that animate the design.
