French Impressionist watercolour on paper view of a collection of rooftops by Henri Clamen. The painting is 'located' bottom right and their is an annotation to the back of the paper. Though not signed it was acquired from the atelier of the artist with other signed works. Pencil annotation, location to the back of the paper.
A charming view of a collection of French rooftops. From the annotation it appears to be the chalet of an Archbishop. Clamen's light, free, impressionist style and his use of colour gives a vivacity and movement to the composition. A little jewel of a painting.
