About the Item
Great early John William Guerin landscape drawing of a field and mountains in nice vintage condition from the 1960s. Signed by artist in bottom right corner.
Dimensions Without Frame: H 8 in. x W 12 in.
Artist Biography:
A painter and educator, John Guerin taught at the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts from 1950 to 1952, and the University of Texas at Austin from 1953 to 1970. He studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, the Art Students League in New York, Escuela Bellas Artes in San Miguel, Mexico, and the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center. He passed away on December 5, 2006.
