Philip Jamison: 1925-2021. Well, listed American artist considered a master watercolorist. That is the medium he preferred. He studied at PAFA and was well represented by many galleries, including Hirschl Adler. He exhibited his works at the Metropolitan Museum of Art as well as others. is This is one of his favorite subjects daisies in a field. He has had Auction results as high as $4500 but sells for much more in galleries. In fact, there is a similar piece on the Internet asking $11,000. This beautiful watercolor measures approximately 19 1/4 inch wide by 10 inches high. The wonderful custom frame measures 25 1/2 inches wide by 16 inches high. He signed the painting lower, right.
