Description: This lively coastal watercolor by Pierre Neveu presents a beautifully stylised view of boats resting along the harbour of a French seaside village. Neveu’s characteristic blend of expressive ink lines and softly layered washes creates a scene that feels both immediate and atmospheric, capturing the essence of small-town maritime life.
In the foreground, moored boats sit against warm, ochre-toned ground, their dark hulls rendered with bold brushwork. Beyond them, a row of traditional village houses stretches across the composition, their simple geometric forms softened by Neveu’s fluid technique.
