Description: An elegant 20th-century French modernist watercolour by Pierre Neveu (French, b. 1929), depicting a seated female nude in profile beside a softly lit window. Behind her, vertical stripes of a curtain create a rhythmic counterbalance to the softness of the body, lending the composition both intimacy and structure.
