Framed : 39 x 47 cm (some damages to the frame as visible on the photographs)
This charming drawing had been attributed to Jan Verhas (1834-1896) in the past. The atmosphere and style can remember the style of the belgian painter, but there are not enough elements to assert this attribution.
For sure, the style and quality ofexecution do evoke 19th century northern art, Belgium or Netherlands or maybe Scandinavia.
