Open and airy watercolor painting showing a large spire jutting out from the ground within a canyon by unidentified arts, "Linus." In the foreground, a body of water is rendered in large, open strokes, with areas of warm browns, indicating the reflection of the canyon, bleeding into the blue. Small trees and brush line the edge of the water. To the right, a striking stone spire juts out of the ground, standing taller than the canyon behind it. The canyon is depicted using warm purple tones, giving the impression that it is in shadow.
Signed "Linus" along right edge of the shoreline below the spire.
