Nude Women in Charcoal on Paper (Two Sided)
Nude woman laying down by Santa Cruz and San Francisco artist Heather Speck (American, b. 1978). On the front, the model is laying down, rendered in black, red, and pale yellow. The drawing has a slight cubist feel, with strong edges and angular forms. There is another draying on the back of a woman laying down, possibly the same model. In this case, the drawing is in black, red, and white.
Unsigned, but was acquired with a collection of the artist's work.
Paper size: 30"H x 22"W
Heather Speck (American, b. 1978) exhibited in San Francisco. She studied figure and non objective painting. Her broad brush strokes and bold colors are in the style of San Francisco Figurative movement artist James Weeks and William Daw. Unsigned, from a collection of her signed works we acquired from a retired San Francisco framing studio.
