Il disegno, penna con inchiostri di diversi colori su carta, è firmato e datato L. NOCENTINI 91. La carta si presenta di un bel colore marrone nocciola, anche se con la luce del video e della foto può assumere una diversa sfumatura.
Rappresenta una figura femminile seduta con le gambe piegate e un braccio sul polpaccio, nuda, con una particolare capigliatura che ricorda la chioma di un albero. rendendola quasi mitologica, come una creatura fatata.
Lo stile di Ladislao Nocentini può essere definito come una sorta di espressionismo figurativo. Infatti le sue opere si basano su un disegno solido e sicuro, in cui prevale l’esaltazione plastica dei soggetti. Tuttavia Nocentini forza la mano sulla natura per dare maggiore vigore espressivo. Allora le sue figure sono soggette a deformazioni, dilatazioni delle membra, posizioni innaturali. Anche il colore si pone al di fuori di un discorso naturalistico ed ha connotazioni emotive e spirituali. Lo spazio è completamente decontestualizzato ed anche qui è il colore espressionistico a prevalere.
Ladislao Nocentini è un pittore nato ad Arezzo nel 1946. Ha praticato l’attività di docente per molto tempo sia a Firenze che a Bari. Nel 1962 è iniziata la sua carriera artistica, partecipando a numerose mostre sia personali che collettive. La sua formazione è avvenuta sotto la guida di importanti maestri come Grazzini, Federici, Gatti, Guasti, Gemignani, Martinelli.

Sculptor, painter, and printmaker Antoniucci Volti was born in Albano, Italy, in 1915. His family lived in there until 1920 when the family moved to France to stay. Volti studied at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Nice from 1928 to 1920. By 1932 the young artist had won a gold medal for two polychrome bas-reliefs before going to Paris, where he entered the studio of Jean Boucher at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris at the age of only fifteen.
After serving in the Second World War, when he was interned as a prisoner of war in Bavaria, he returned in poor health to Paris, only to find his studio destroyed. From 1947 he showed work at various Paris Salons and, in 1954 and 1955 at the Brussels and Antwerp Biennales. In 1957 a retrospective of his work was organized at the Museum Rodin in Paris. He died in Paris in 1989
