Description: This expressive modernist nude study by French Post-Impressionist painter Pierre Neveu presents a reclining female figure rendered with fluid, confident brushwork and a sensitive understanding of anatomy. Executed in watercolour and ink, the composition captures the model lying on deep red drapery, her form illuminated by soft, natural light that emphasises the subtle contours of the body.
