Sylvestre Bruly Bouabré paintings reveal, with a touch of eroticism, the woman in all its splendour and... also its nudity. At first glance, the "naked women" with quite suggestive curves of Sylvestre Bruly might shock puritanical souls, which can assimilate it, this form of aesthetics, to pornography or voyeurism. His work is clearly the result of the observations he had made during its nocturnal transects, in bars and other hot nightclubs of Yopougon. It immerses us in the peculiar world of strippers who scour these places, once nightfall.
