About the Item
A delicately realized still-life showing a profusion of lilies and daisies informally arranged in a glass bowl and set upon round side table. Signed lower left, 'Beverly Bunn' (American, 20th century) and painted circa 1985.
Born to a family lineage of artists, Beverly Bunn received her bachelor of arts degree from Auburn University and, while at Auburn, she studied under Harry Lowe of the Smithsonian Institution. She served as the president of Huntsville Art League, vice president of the Alabama Art League, and was also a member of the Utah Watercolor Society. Bun exhibited nationwide with success, including at the Columbus Museum, the Birmingham Museum of Fine Arts and at Fisher Galleries as well as nationwide in California, Florida and Utah.
