Vibrant watercolor, pen and ink floral study of red begonia, with brilliant attention to detail and a signature delicate style, by California artist Deborah Eddy (American, b.1943). Signed "D. Eddy" lower right. Attributed to Deborah Eddy, dated 1985, and titled "#8 Begonia on the Farm" on verso. Presented mounted on black, in a rustic white painted wood frame with glass. Image size: 12"H x 9"W.
Eddy has a BA from Penn State and has shown extensively in California since 1986, including the Yosemite Museum, Santa Cruz Museum of Art, and the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento. She is a published writer and illustrator as well as a dedicated artist.
