About the Item

Vibrant, saturated watercolor of yellow daises and other flowers by Walnut Creek, California artist Olga Degles (French/American, 1911-1999). Several daisies are depicted against a dark umber background, creating an intense contrast. The dark area has other flowers incorporated into it, fading into the background. Other flowers are shown at the bottom of the composition, also rendered with bright colors. Signed "Olga Degles" in the lower right corner. Presented in a black frame with a silver accent and yellow mat. Frame size: 21"H x 17.25"W Image size: 17"H x 11"W Olga Degles (French, 1911-1999) Born in France she emigrated to the United States in 1955, eventually settling in Walnut Creek, California. Exhibited and member at the Rossmore Art Association, Walnut Creek, California.
