Floral Portrait with Tulip on Green Background - 25 Limited Edition Dibond Print
Located in FISTERRA, ES
"Floral Portrait with Tulip on Green Background" is an original limited edition high-quality Dibond direct UV Print of the Natasha Lelenco`s artwork titled "Scatsong". This piece, like the entire "Fetishes" series, is inspired by the idea of biophilia and the belief that, according to the artist, humanity must be repositioned as just one part of nature rather than its center. Based on Natasha Lelenco's original acrylic on canvas artwork created in 2021, each print, numbered 25 of 25, captures a vibrant fusion of floral elements and anthropomorphic forms. The result is a visually striking and emotionally resonant piece. It is worth noting that the original artwork from which this limited edition print is derived is still available and can be purchased on 1stdibs. Lelenco has subtly hand-finished each print, sometimes adding small details or enhancing the background colors. The prints are varnished, signed, and numbered on the back, and come ready to hang with a simple system that gives the impression of the artwork floating on the wall. Customers also have the option to frame it if they prefer.
The artwork presents a striking silhouette composed of lush green leaves, a pink tulip, and other floral elements, set against a vivid green background. This combination of vibrant colors and intricate details showcases Lelenco's talent for transforming natural elements into extraordinary compositions, inviting viewers to explore the deeper connections between nature and human identity. The high-quality Dibond direct UV Print, finished and varnished by the artist herself, ensures durability and color quality, making this piece a lasting and valuable addition to any art collection. This edition is part of the "Fetiches" series, created by Lelenco since 2021, designed to work individually or as part of multiple panels with other pieces from the same series.
Natasha Lelenco's "Fetiches" series blends portraiture and anthropomorphic forms through a meticulous accumulation of elements. These components intertwine with nuanced thematic exploration, touching upon both kitsch and popular iconography, while delving into the inseparable connection between humanity and the broader living community. Drawing from her personal biography, Lelenco constructs a dialogue between memory and imagery. Through a skillful process, she resurrects fragments of her past to craft fresh narratives that challenge conventional perceptions of existence. This narrative depth, coupled with psychological complexity, echoes classical influences, seamlessly bridging the gap between Renaissance portraiture and contemporary expression. Notably, Lelenco's "Fetiches" series reflects the artistic echoes of Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo.

Paper dimensions: 24.25 x 35.5 inches
A fresh and unfaded woodblock print showing a view of cherry tree boughs heavy with glowing blossoms before a vista of rolling hills with stylized Japanese pine beneath a luminous, golden sunset.
Morihiro Sato graduated from Musashino College of Fine Art before studying under the printmaker Joichi Hoshi (1913-1979). Sato’s work focuses on the beauty of nature, particularly that of trees. Jane DeDecker’s energetic and dynamic bronze sculptures serve as a reflection of her own life experiences and those of her closely-knit family. Her twelve nieces and nephews are the primary source of her inspiration, though DeDecker’s sculptures are not portraits. In fact, her loose style leaves her viewers with room for interpretation, so as to see their own lives within her sculptures. This imprecision, combined with her unique ability to capture specific moments to which each viewer can relate on a personal level, regardless of age, give DeDecker’s work a timeless quality that spans generations.
DeDecker began her artistic training as a painter at the University of Northern Colorado, until a professor, noticing her joy in the portrayal of shapes and forms, suggested she try her hand at sculpture. Taking his advice, DeDecker went on to study at Gobelins School of Tapestry in Paris...

Abstract Expressionist Biomorphic Welded Metal Sculpture
Located in Surfside, FL
Welded, brazed sculpture on wooden base
This is not signed or dated
This work is unsigned. We were told it was the work of Seymour Lipton but as there is further documentation we are selling it as attributed and cannot guarantee it as such.
Seymour Lipton (1903 – 1986) was an American abstract expressionist sculptor. He was a member of the New York School who gained widespread recognition in the 1950s. He initially trained as a dentist, like fellow sculptor Herbert Ferber, receiving his degree from Columbia University in 1927. In the late 1920s, he began to explore sculpture, creating clay portraits of family members and friends. His early choices of medium changed from wood to lead and then to bronze, and he is best known for his work in metal. Like his contemporary, Abstract Expressionist Jackson Pollock, and Arshile Gorky Lipton was influenced by Carl Jung’s work on the unconscious mind and the regenerative forces of nature. He translated these two-dimensional drawings into three-dimensional maquettes that enabled him to revise his ideas before creating the final sculpture. The forms that Lipton produced during this period were often zoomorphic, exemplifying the tension between the souls of nature and the automatism of the machine. He made several technical innovations, including brazing nickel silver rods onto sheets of Monel to create rust resistant forms. Seymour Lipton is best known for his textured torch welded metal sculptures...

The Path - Abstract Geometric Form, Hand Painted Welded Steel Wall Sculpture
By Chris Hill
Located in Chicago, IL
This dynamic wall sculpture is created from sheets of steel, welded together in an abstract geometric pattern. Muted shades of blue, grey, purple and green dominate and are balanced by softer hues. While the work adheres to a rigid, rational geometry, this sculptures suggest lyrical movement, apparent weightlessness and improvisation as the title suggests.
