About the Item
This is a collage painting from a limited series. I begin by painting various colors on print making paper. After about 10 sheets of painted paper, I rip the paper in various shapes. Then I adhere the shapes onto canvas. When I am pleased with the shapes, I paint over them, so the paint and collage is united. A varnish goes on top. This process is quite lengthy which is why I have painted a limited amount of paintings. Still, the pieces have turned out well and I am happy with the results. .This painting seems to glow as if it is a light in a cave. The piece is very gem like.
