Jean Picart Le Doux, born in Paris in 1902 and died in 1982, was a French painter and painter-cartonnier the revival of contemporary flat weave tapestry. He is the son of the painter Charles Picart Le Doux (1881-1959). His first tapestry dating from 1943 after winning the Grand Prix of the theater poster exhibition in the imaging. He met Jean Lurcat and, and Marc Saint-Saëns,and together they founded the Association of painters cardboard tapestry in 1947. In 1950, he comes up with the idea for the Alliance Graphique Internationale, during the meeting with exhibitors of an exhibition of their work in Basel, Switzerland along with two other French designers Jean Jacques Colin and Nathan, and two Swiss graphic designers, Fritz Buhler and Donald Brown. AGI is officially founded November 22, 1952 and Picart Le Doux will be its first president.

Terence La Noue was born in Hammond, Indiana in 1941. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1964. After going to Berlin as a Fulbright Meister Student at Hochscule fur Bildende Kunste in 1964-65 he went on to receive a Master of Fine Arts degree from Cornell University. In addition to the Fulbright Foundation fellowship, La Noue has twice received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Guggenheim Foundation. He has had extensive teaching experience at Trinity College 1967-72, the City University of New York 1972-85 and at New York University in 1987. He lives between Arizona, Paris, France and Vermont. Terence La Noue, who has created powerful, compelling paintings for the last four decades, is considered one of the outstanding talents of 20th century American abstract art. Layering canvas, fabric, gauze, acrylic paint and cast elements forming a lively melding of many different materials, symbols and colors to create tapestry-like paintings, he conjures up colorfully rich abstractions that reveal a sense of myth, magic and mystery. His extensive world travels serve as inspiration for works that are abstract mixtures of Western and non-Western traditions and histories. India, South America, Morocco, Mexico and Nepal have been favorite destinations.
Terence La Noue’s unique approach to painting and printmaking has achieved worldwide recognition. Beginning in Berlin in 1965 he has had over a hundred and thirty acclaimed solo exhibitions in London, Paris, Tehran, Stockholm, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Cologne, New York, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Palm Beach, Dallas, Atlanta, Tucson and Scottsdale.
His work is represented in the permanent collections of major museums including:

Joe Gilgun is an English actor and producer based in Manchester, best known for his character Vinnie O'Neill in the series Brassic, which he also co-created, and for his character Woody in the film This Is England (2006) and its subsequent spin-off series, he has also played roles in Hollyoaks, Coronation street and E4s Misfits.
Joe is a self-taught artist. Working from his home studio in Manchester, he explores themes of identity, emotion, society, and the human experience. Drawing from his own personal history and mental health, as well as the shared experiences of the voiceless and invisible living on the streets, Joe continues to discover a haunting beauty in the darkest aspects of the human psyche. With a mixture of street, abstract and fine art influences, most of his work is created using a blend of acrylic, spray paint and charcoal. However, he doesn’t limit himself, sometimes it’s a case of using whatever’s at hand; a splash of tea, a mouthful of spit, on occasion he doesn’t even use a canvas. Art works have been painted on bed sheets due to the times he’s been too anxious to leave the house. Broken gates salvaged from wastelands next to filming locations have also found their way into the collection.
Joe has made a conscious effort to find his own method and style through the trial and error of painting. Trying to find his voice before he starts looking, almost out of spite. Though he enjoys the history of art, classic and contemporary, he has far more interest in understanding his own voice before muddying the waters with everything that’s gone before.
There are, however, influences that can’t be avoided. George Condo’s work fascinates him, he paints ‘ordinary people’, though Joe doesn’t believe anyone’s ordinary. He appreciates how Condo captures the chaos of it all. Francesco Goya: Joe is intrigued by ‘The Black Paintings’. Goya resented society, he kept this series in his house and thought no one would ever see. Similar to Joe’s work, he felt almost embarrassed about the art. It was only ever supposed to stay in the safety of his home. Sir Francis Bacon: with a fear of appearing arrogant, Joe doesn’t consider himself to be a fan of Bacon’s work. Though there are similarities in the themes of despair and the lack of romance about the world. Plus, he was terrified of his dad, much like Joe. Despite being the least favourite of his influences, he’s the artist Joe’s talks about most often, which bothers him. In his abstract figurative work, internationally collected artist Alessandro Siviglia deconstructs everyday objects, landscapes, and human subjects into colorful geometric shapes in an attempt to represent their three-dimensional nature on a two-dimensional medium without using a naturalistic one-point perspective or shading. This technique translates into a visual language of perceiving the world around us with new emotions. Siviglia's cubist expressionist scenes often include people and small stray animals, which are used to reflect his concept of relativity with amalgams of time and place.

Alessandro Siviglia was born in Salerno, Italy in 1982. He immersed himself in art from an early age. Siviglia was initially drawn to street art, where he was able to express his artistic interests by graffiti writing on large public spaces using the alias CROW. After a 15 year stretch of taking a bold, guerrilla approach to art Siviglia began to create works on canvas that combine his street art background with more traditional artistic conventions.
