A highly collectible one-of-a-kind sculpture from the subversive Brooklyn arts collective, the "Bruce High Quality Foundation"; works like this are elusive and very desirable: customized wooden shadow box featuring a copper printmaking plate with hand-painted Bruce face. This work is unique and was acquired directly from the artists as part of a charity fundraiser. It is accompanied by the original paperwork and description: "A one-of-a-kind Bruce High Quality Foundation customized wooden shadow box featuring a copper printmaking plate with hand-painted Bruce face. Each piece is unique and is only available through this Kickstarter campaign." Acquired directly from the artist's studio as part of the 2017 Kickstarter campaign "How to Move a Mountain" to fund a program at the Chipakata Children’s Academy in Zambia. A school of over 200 children, preschool through 7th grade, the academy is the first initiative in rural Zambia of the 14+ Foundation, a New York-based nonprofit that builds schools for communities in rural Africa.
The Bruce High Quality Foundation University closed in 2017, so this is a coveted collectors item.

With the exception of the dark metallic one they are transparent and opaque glass. I have shot the photos on a dark background so you can better see the images. they are signed in ink, dated and numbered from the edition of 25. I am selling them individually. the box from Vincent Fremont Multiples is not included.
Suzan Etkin's passionate involvement with glass began in 1993, when she was invited to design sculptural chandeliers for gallery exhibitions with Giorgio Giuman and master glass blowers in Murano, Italy.
Prior to working with glass as a medium she was the production manager for Andy Warhol Factory (Production Manager, Film & Video), and quickly emerged as a conceptual artist of global recognition. Her work has been shown in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, Paul Kasmin Gallery, Holly Solomon Gallery, and other museums and galleries around the world.
In 2001, Suzan founded sei studio in SoHo with her husband, Brenden FitzGerald. They have collaborated with some of the industry’s most innovative architects and interior designers to produce custom chandeliers and art features for hundreds of landmark spaces, including the W Hotel Seoul, Mandarin Oriental New York, and Intercontinental Hong Kong.
