We are in front of a mixed media work, where collage and painting meet on a square surface. The first thing that strikes you is the base, which is pure white, but worked with a beautiful grainy texture that gives a subtle relief to the whole. This luminous background makes all the coloured elements that are placed on it vibrate and highlight.
The composition is organized around a whirling movement, as if the pieces were floating in a large incomplete circle. They are scattered across the canvas, each in its own place, never touching, giving a feeling of fragmentation and joyful bursting.
Among these fragments, we can see many paper clippings, like pages torn from newspapers. They are irregular, torn, and their text, often illegible, creates a kind of visual murmur, background noise. They frame and punctuate the general movement, mainly in the periphery.
In the midst of these writings, there are incredibly rich touches of color and material. Textured shapes, sometimes thick, come in orange-yellow and earthy brown with a metallic effect. Also seen are flashes of green-blue, deep blue shapes, and bright red accents. The whole is dotted with small round spots (red, orange) and fine, black lines, like notes thrown on a score.
The painting offers an impression of controlled chaos and energy. There is a strong contrast between the calm of textured white and the agitation of coloured fragments and words. It is a work that speaks to us of dispersion and fragmented memory, while maintaining a light and captivating visual rhythm.

Emmanuelle Vroelant
Born in 1952, Emmanuelle Vroelant has been living and working in Roscoff, Brittany since 2006. Despite a real attraction for artistic creation, her parents encouraged her to study. After graduating in psychology, she leaves to discover the world and it is far from the family weight that she gives life to her first child. She moved to Vanuatu where she met artist Juan Roderta and journalist Alphonso Colondro. These two men allow a real questioning of the artist who discovers the need to paint. On her return to Paris, she opened her first studio in 1981 and ended up exhibiting in 1985, 86, 88 and 89 at the Grand Palais Autumn Show, allowing her to start an international career.After two years of illness, Emmanuelle lost her inspiration and opened a psychoanalyst practice in Paris, where she practised art therapy. In 2006, she left her Parisian life to settle in Brittany, which allowed her to regain a creative energy. At the request of collector Michel Chamming’s, Emmanuelle successfully exhibited in Paris in 2009. During the inauguration of a New York gallery, she meets Jean-Claude Reumont who offers her to represent her for China. Today, Emmanuelle Vroelant’s works are present in the United States, China and France.
