About the Item
Evelyn Harper, "Untitled: Cadillac Automobile Show" , Mixed Media on Illustration Board, 15 x 10, Mid-20th Century, 1948
Colors: Black and White
A 15 x 10 Black and White Illustration/ Advert of a Cadillac Series 62, the first new car designs by Cadillac Post-WWII. This appears to be a graphic design advert/ assignment promoting an upcoming car show. Hand drawn Cadillac insignia and logo in the foreground along with palm tree, skyscraper and respective car model. The illustration itself is an ever so indicative trademark of the glamour and top of the line luxury the car and company have represented since 1902. This would make a perfect piece for either an old school car enthusiast or one who appreciates advertising graphic design.
