Each of the accompanying teacups (nestled on cashmere crocheted doilies) depict a different bird: a hummingbird, a raven, a blue tit and a cardinal. Sascha Mallon’s sculptural set relates to her narrative storytelling style and creates a conversation amongst the birds. The total set includes 5 hand-sculpted pieces: the central teapot and four teacups with saucers and crocheted doilies.
