About the Item
Stunning Rare Original Artwork by Renowned Cuban Artist Jose Pepe Rafart. This comes from the Personal Art collection of my father, Fahri Aldin.
Pepe Rafart (José Carlos Rafart, 1946–2009) was an internationally acclaimed Cuban sculptor and master silversmith. He was known for unique, mid-century modern works that often integrated silver designs with natural materials like precious wood, semi-precious stones, and marble to create figurative representations of Cuba's natural world.
This beautiful piece measures 14 inches in height by 12.5 inches in length with frame. Or 32 x 36 centimeters. And 8" high by 7" wide without frame. Signed and dated 1977.
