Pelenur understands painting as a way of thought and identifies primarily as a painter and as a surfer.
Pelenur’s work has been exhibited across Uruguay, Argentina, Germany, and the United States. He has been the subject of international solo and group exhibitions including at the Muso de Arte Contemporáneo de Buenos Aires, Fundación Art Nexus in Bogotá, El Museo Figari in Montevideo and Fundación Sayago
Pardon in Los Angeles. Pelenur was born in Uruguay, where he currently lives and works.
