About the Item
Monica DeSalvo’s “Cochlear Caper” is a surreal mixed media collage on archival paper using fragments of acrylic monotypes printed on various papers including math homework from DeSalvo’s late father. Imagery includes a vintage work ticket and abstractions of black and white photographs. Elements are arranged in an irregular cluster and appear to float and waft. The monotypes were created using a Gelli plate with acrylic paint. The piece is framed, wired, and ready to hang. The signature is on the front under the image.
