Robert Rauschenberg signed, Raul Ramirez hand-painted jacket,
Provenance from artist Raul "Rudy" Ramirez. According to Ramirez:
"Rauschenberg started the Quarter Miler painting in 1981 (and finished it in 1998), with the first showing of the first section at Edison Community College in Ft. Myers in 1982. We were living in Cape Coral, Florida and attended that opening. I wore the jacket with the names Picasso and Cezanne and Rauschenberg to the opening. I asked him if he would sign his name over his name on the arm of the jacket. The photo shows him signing his signature over his name. He thought that was funny.
