Two volumes. Eduard Hallberger publisher, bound editions, moldy and dirty spots, pages with cracks.
A marvellous edition of hundres of illustration depicting ancient Egypt and scene of ordinary life in late 19th Century.
Georg Moritz Ebers (1837-1898) was a German Egyptologist and writer. With his historical novels and popular science books he contributed to the great popularity of Egyptology in the late 19th century.
