white from artwork by Egon Schiele. 30x29.5 cm (11¾x11½") full black leather lettered in red, slipcase. No. E14 of 50 copies of the de luxe edition, with two original rubber-cuts by Schiele, printed on a sheet of hand-made paper, inserted at title-page. Magnificent tribute to the art of Austrian painter Egon Schiele, a protégé of Gustav Klimt and and early exponent of Expressionism. Schiele died at age 28 just before the end of the first world war, a victim of the Spanish flu pandemic.
