This is a beautiful oil painting by Alexis Portilla, using a palette of jewel colors, bold brushwork and pictographs to create an atmospheric piece. Alexis Portilla's large scale pieces like Anemone, Black Elk, Thor Twins, Tokyo, Chromatic Fantasy are spectacular pieces in terms of the atmospheric brushwork, colors and textures.
