Aly Cairo
Aly Cairo is a French artist born in 1976 who lives
works in Ile de la Réunion. She is a self-taught artist, bathed since childhood with paintings with her family. Very inspired by Egypt and also Ile de la Réunion in Indian Ocean, she works spontaneously, interacting with artwork that she creates. Her abstract pantings are mainly achieved with acrylic. The artist exhibited in particular with the Gaudi Gallery in Madrid, at the International Contemporary Art Fair Linéart in Ghent in Belgium, at the Kunstart International Contemporary Art Fair in Bolzano with Alba Gallery from Ferrara in Italy. She received the Premio Alba 2010 prize and appears in the International Encyclopedic Dictionary of Modern and Contemporary Art 2010.
