C. Bhagyanath - Untitled - 36 x 36 inches (unframed size) Oil on Canvas ( UNFRAMED ALL IN DELIVERED PRICE ) Born in 1968 in Tellicherry, Kerela, C. Bhagyanath received his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (painting) from the College of Fine Arts, Triavandrum, in 1992. Following this, the artist went on to study at the Sarojini Naidu School of Performing Arts, Fine Arts and Communication in Hyderabad, where he received his Master’s degree in the same subject in 2006. Some of the solo exhibitions in which Bhagyanath’s works have been exhibited include 'Ventriloquism' at Kashi Art Gallery, Kochi, in 2010-2011; 'In Limbo' at Project 88, Mumbai, in 2009; exhibitions at Kashi Art Gallery, Kochi, in 2006; and Kannur in 2004. He has also taken part in several group exhibitions, some of which include 'A. SYCO' at the Viewing Room, Mumbai; 'The Way We Are' at Mon Art Gallery, Kolkata; 'Evidentia' at Gallery Sumukha, Chennai and Bangalore; 'Re-claim/Re-cite/Re-cycle' at Bose Pacia, Kolkata; 'Recycled' at Travancore Palace, New Delhi; 'Metamorphosis: Change and Continuity in Indian Art' at Phyllis Weston-Annie Boiling Gallery, USA; 'The Big Picture' at Welcomart Gallery; Gallery and 'Pastiche' at Chaitanya Art Gallery, Kochi. Bhagyanath was awarded the State Lalit Kala Akademi Award, Kerala, in 2002. The artist lives and works in Kerala.
