Octopus, 2025 by a.muse is a 24 x 18in contemporary abstract work on rag paper of an octopus floating through horizontal planes of pink, ochre, and lime green sea. The artist mixes sand and acrylic for a gritty, geological texture, while adding diamond dust for the octopus and water. Mimicking light reflecting through water., the artist uses vibrant colors to camouflage a marine creature in its natural environment.
