"Color is my music" is the color virtuoso Annette Werndl's motto. She applies combination of colors to be expressive in her abstract works. Lafayette Street is one of her recent works that shows her passion and skills for colors.
Internationally appreciated and exhibited, the works of the color virtuoso are abstract and expressive.
Annette Werndl was encouraged from an early age to pursue her talent as a painter and to work with oil paints on canvas. However, it only after a number of years of working as an
interior designer that she decided to become an independent artist. She studied painting at various art academies and took part in the master classes of Jerry Zeniuk and Hermann Nitsch.
Through her extensive travels and sojourns in faraway places she developed her own pictorial Language, whose expressive use of color gives it an irresistible allure.
