This Series "The show must go on" is inspired by the song of Freddie Mercury/Queen. The show is used as a symbol for life, life is to be enjoyed, and continued by those who remain, who must try to move on. The song was released a week before he died. Mercury knew that he was dying. He fought up to the very end. "My soul is painted like the wings of a butterfly" is part of the song text. This powerful abstract artwork is painted on a light green ground.. The size is 50cm W x 100cm H and 4 cm/1.5" deep. It is varnished for protection against dust and UV light, ready to hang. Edges are painted. A powerful painting with a strong and positive message. My artistic expression is a rebellion against the dreariness of the everyday, a manifesto for the joy and wonder of childhood.
